‘The Collection is inspired by Matthew’s travels and conjures up the atmosphere of destinations such as India, Ibiza, Marrakech and Bali’.
Matthew Williamson Fragrance launched very successfully in the summer of 2005 and was followed in 2007 by the introduction of Sheer, a softer and less heady fragrance. Since the original launch, Matthew has become increasingly aware that there is a trend for designers to maximise on the strength of a signature fragrance by identifying key notes and releasing these as fragrances in their own right. It is also evident from many of today’s launches that niche fragrances are having a rejuvenating effect on the business.
With this in mind, Matthew approached Clement Gavarry from IFF who was the perfumer who created his signature fragrance and from this collaboration emerged the Matthew Williamson Collection, a limited edition of four single note Eau de Toilettes at 10% concentration. These are directly inspired by the signature fragrance and are available either individually or as a collection. Each is presented in its own colour palette, directly inspired by Matthew, in a 50ml bottle that is the same shape as both the signature fragrance and Sheer.
Matthew Williamson Collection allows the woman who adores Matthew for his wonderful use of colour, print, texture and design to be just as creative with her fragrance. Worn alone or layered in any combination, these fragrance notes will make a very personal statement. No two days need be the same but, when combined with creativity, a certain blend may emerge as a truly unique and personal statement. An individual ‘signature fragrance’!
Matthew Williamson Collection presents the perfect opportunity to have fun with fragrance! To be exotic, feminine, sensual or chic. To conjure up memories of people, places or times. To be creative. To be individual.
